My iBook is old, slow, and I have 1 GB left of space. I will need a new computer high school and are not sure which to buy.
So basically I know I want a MacBook or MacBook Pro.
I am unsure of which one will be right for my needs.
Microsoft Word, Internet, itunes, and iphoto
The Macbook would work wonderful for those needs but here's the catch. I will be in the Pre Engineering program and will run a C.A.D. (computer aided design) program, on Boot Camp on the computer.
I will be able to wait till next year before I will need my computer for CAD, so does anyone think there might be a NEW MacBook Pro and think I should wait to get more bang for my buck$?
Any words of Advice on which MacBook to buy?

After I did, I reloaded my applications such as Microsoft Office, Act, bla bla bla... Everything was running fine until today, when I tried to load my CAD program. My computer no longer sees either of my cd-rom drives. It says:
"Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)"
I have unistalled the drivers and leloaded them, and the computer still does not recognize them. I tried a system restore and it wont let me because changes have been made to the cd-rom drives. HELP!!!!
Oh, I have never opened the cover to the PC, so nothing internaly should have changed.

Up until now I have written most of the software myself in C and VB but need more time to devote to the business. I am looking for an accomplished programmer with good maths (we write a lot of CAD/CAM based solutions) and knowledge of RS232 communications, wireless technology, SQL, ASP.NET and Microsoft Windows environments. Any engineering experience (robotics, Fanuc OSP, Fanuc Focas, Ladder Progamming) would be good.
The candidate needs to be a self starter who can liaise with customers at the highest level himself (our customers include BAE, GKN, Rolls Royce) and create custom solutions which are delivered on-time and on-budget. I am willing to offer a share in the business to the right candidate (subject to probationary period) and a decent salary package.

One of the users in my company has a problem when she logs in everyday. The setup for Office 2000 and Auto Cad 2006 will start to run, even though this programs are fully installed. She is on a roaming/mandatory profile. I tried adding her into the Administrators group and logging in, but it still happens. When I login as the admin I don't have the same issue. What could it be?
