Resolved Question: I am looking for a 3D interior design software.I know CAD can do that but it's hard to learn how to use it.?

I am working on a project which requires me to redesign the hospital setting. I think a 3D interior design software will be a good aid in this case. I found one software called Sweet Home Design, but it doesn't have that many office modules plus the printout quality is not very good. Please help me out if you know any. I know photoshop or CS ... are good softwares, but it just takes forever for me to learn how to use them before i can use them. Thanks in advanced.  more

Resolved Question: Which software or CAD programs do architects personally use?

I will be studying for my Bachelor of Architectural Design next year and the 2 main programs I design with at the moment are "Envisoneer Express 3.0" and occasionally "Google SketchUp". I have just found an updated program released in January this year (2008) called InteriCAD 6000 but I am yet to try it out for myself. It looks incredible but I can imagine it would cost an arm and a leg. If any registered architects could reply with the program they use and recommend, I would be greatly appreciative. I will eventually end up working closely with residential (domestic) designing, interior designing and possibly landscaping... I'm expecting to be back in a classroom for around 7-9 years all up. So if anybody knows of relevant software or programs, would you mind letting me know? Thanks in advance everyone. Does anybody know where i can find a Auto cad 3-d car design software for mac thats a pretty common program, I need an auto body design program but i cannot find one. Price doesnt matter. I want it to be good, and commonly used by professionals. If you know of one please let me know, thanks alot. Also, If you know of any 3-D Architect programs for mac that would be really helpful too. I wish cheif architect was for mac, I just recently bought a mac pro, now all of my PC programs are gone and i need what i had but for mac. Anyway thanks for the help :) About the boot camp response. I know about bootcamp, I tried installing it and its wasnt working properly, Or really not at all, it was giving me an error message i have no apple care, and bla bla bla, so i need to stay within the mac OS X. so if you have any programs for mac OS X than please let me know.
