I recently brought home a new bunny. I named him Cad (short for Cadmium) and as I was bringing him home in my car from the breeder, he sat on my lap the whole trip without panicking. He doesn't really like to chew things. Actually I'm really glad he's not eating chunks of my carpet and drywall. I'd offer him phone books, cardboard boxes he can destroy, crumpled pieces of paper, but he only nibbles at them (I had a hamster before who'd destroy anything, but hamsters and rabbits are in different classes so no comparison I guess). In about 5 days he's litterbox trained. He doesn't poop or pee outside his cage (except he poops when he's nervous, like when I'm vacuuming the inside of his cage or something). He doesn't bite (maybe a little nibble here and there if you have a tasty treat). He loves to be held, but not picked up (tries to go for the artery. Smart rabbit).
This is my first rabbit. He's about 7 weeks old. The breeder admits to not handling them very much (probably none at all because he owned a lot of rabbits)
I've had this rabbit for 5 days. Is this at all normal?

Fast forward to today and things can not possibly get any worse for me.
A few days ago he went out with a mate, he had only just emt this guy and was kinda worried, I normally call him fromw ork but I didnt that day as I didn't want to get upset, he took this as a sign I was angry. So anyway its 12 midnight and no cal or text, I'm very worried at this point but he eventually texts to tell me he is on his way home.
He gets home climbs into bed and says "I'm back", no kiss or hug or I love you. I simply asked him why he didn't text and if he loved me, but he refused to answer stating "I'm tired I want to go to bed, all he had to say was yes. Eventually he said "I don't know"
This completely threw me ..... I was so shocked and didn;t know how to take it so i got dressed and walked along the seafront for half an hour, I came back and demanded some answers, but he said he wanted to sleep, so he locked the bedroom door. I kept asking do you love me and he eventually shouted "NO", so I was like wtf happened tonight?? he just kept saying "I'm tired I want to sleep"
I told him I would break the door down if he didn't open it and he told me not to in a very stren voice, but I went ahead anyway. As soon as I got in he was cowering and calling the police!!!!!! saying stay away from me, by this point I was on the floor in tears telling him i would never lay a inger on him and he has no reason to think I would ... never hit anyone in my life ....
So the police come (this is about 4am) and take me about 40 minutes away to a stay at a family friends house, she and her husband agreed he over reacted and was just trying to get me out so he didn;t have to face the problem, she works with him and says he forever burys his head in the sand. an hour passes and he comes to pick me up so I can go into work early and ask for half the day off to sort things out, we get home and have a little tak, he explains.
He says we have not spent much time together lately and have been irritating each other, but he does love me and cares about me. I tell him things like that are minor and are fixable, he says its been like this for a while and I tell him how was I suppose to know when you write me cards like the one you wrote a few days ago!!!
I fall asleep and he goes to work, bloody wake up late and late for work! I go in for the two hours that are left and he picks me up at the end of the day, we go home to talk and he keeps saying I don't think this is going to work, and I'm getting really frustrated as the problems to me are VERY fixable ... and he swears blind he isnt seeing another guy nor does he want to.
I start getting out of control again because I just don't know what to do or how to react, I smashed a plate over my head (don't know why) and he runs out the house crying calling the family friend I stayed with in the morning. They come round and calm us down, and we go out and have fish and chips, and the guy he went out with texts in the middle, made me feel a bit sixk to be honest.
we get in and they go home, 10 mins later I am very calm and accepting everything a bit more but he says he doesnt feel safe with me here. so he is going to stay in a hotel. I say fine just go. he doesnt go and we talk, he says we both need space and that I should go home for two weeks. I kind of agree. Later that night we end up having sex, very good sex, but no make up sex.
The thing with leaving his house is that he (we) live on an island, I work o that island, I have friends on that island, my cat loves his cat (lol) and he lives on the island. I live on that island, I moved in. Now I am back with my mother, on mainland, I have been going back and fourth in my mind over whether to quit my job, but I cant live here.
My poor mother. She is slap bang in the middle of a council estate and its HORRIBLE, I got abuse shouted at me just walking down to the local store, couldn't buy any food cos the shop doesn;t even do chip and pin!!!
before I left I tooka suitcase of clothes, my 360 and my cat. I asked him to read that cad back to me and so he did, he said he still means everything in it, including that he will love me till he dies and that he wouldnt be without me.
I am going abroad next next monday (22nd) so that week I am ok, a welcome break, but for this week I need to grab a train, then a ferry then another train, then a lenghty walk to get to work, costing me a fair bit. All while being in this state.
What do you make on all of this? what the F*** should I do???

This year, 2008, I decided to go to a two year school for mechanical engineering. They train you on all the machinst fields including cnc, welding, CAD computer programs, junior engineering, etc...
My uncle is a machinist and he never went to college. He just started somewhere and worked his way up and is doing awesome for himself. My question is do you think I should go through with school and then find a job or should I go the other way and find a job and just work my way up?

just was wondering if anyone new any decent paying careers with a normal 9-5 work schedule that dont require many years of education (i'm talking probably around a 2 year tech degree or a non demanding 4 year bachelors degree).
my boyfriend is in the military reserves and is more of a hands on type of learner who isnt huge on demanding college courses (high level math/science) and was considering doing an air traffic control program because its on the job training/good paying job, but he doesnt like the rotating (24/7) work schedule for the rest of his life.
hes also good at drafting/auto cad and was considering doing some type of engineering but doesnt want to/isnt that great at all the math/sciences courses you'd have to take. do you have to have a bachelors degree to get a job as an engineer (he's interested in maybe getting into site excavation/building estimation type work for construction or excavating companies..)

I am doing engineering application support, development job. My job covers varied kind of CAD, database, windows applications. I had more experience than my team members.But there is one thing bothers me from time to time. My boss did not have a lot of experience, but he wants to know everything,every detail of what I did and how I did. He also ask me to write a lot of document or procedures to show him and other team member. Then he used these document report to his boss. Looks like everything was done by him. Sometimes he even used command language to order me to teach my team member step by step. I do not mind sharing some of my experience with my team members. But I really feel I was paid to solve problem, do my job rather than teach someone else. I should not responsible for training others especially my boss. Can I reject him? How to make myself feel good and deal with these kinds of thing rightiously? or Shall I educate myself the moral Share more and get more?

I wanted to get a job straight out of high school doing stuff in CAD (Computer Aided Desgin) which i might receive thanks to my friend's mom's boyfriend. Now my friends brother got it because he took the 4 Drafting classes in the school but they trained him because nothing he learned in the classes was what they used there. If i wanted to get the job would they look at my failed classes and turn me down. I have failed about 6 of classes i thought were stupid during 9th grade and half of 10th but in 11th i have done alot better passing all myclasses with Bs and As. But if I still graduate on time because i went to a different school where i get more credits per semester would they look at that? If not could i maybe go to a community college and take some classes in CAD to increase my chances to get the job or a similair job?

I've been a woodworker/ builder for a big portion of my life. Now my Dr.s are telling me I have to stop and do something else because my back is so beat up. I have a possible chance to get funded for rehab college classes.
Here's my afliction; I decide one day OK I'll train to be a radiologist! Then everyone says there's too much lifting. Labor Dept says I should try to stay in my field (building windows) so I think OK CAD classes. "No, say the Drs. you can't sit at a computer all day". College says I should teach industrial arts. But I don't want to invest in something that is usually the first to be cut from the budget!
Now, I already suffer from depression and bipolar disorder, Along with 4 other diseases. I'm loosing my confidence by the day. I don't have a clue as to what I should do. Does anyone have an idea of what one with my skills can do without wrecking my back? I'm getting really depressed about this. My unemployment is running out and I'm sinking! Be nice please

my supervisor couldnt reply , i could . M.D appriciated and said that you got sharp brain in your team then yours.
after few min i looked at him and his face was red. i thought that he is angry on me.
i havent done anything wrong still i feel bad .
what should i do to avoid this type of situation.
should i igonre mistakes??? or be quite when some-one ask something
i think he has some ego and he dont like to accept that i know even a little extra then he does.
